fiancailles

translated by inertia

From before I was born, I loved you
Yet [even] not seeing you, you are my person of destiny

An absurd time pulled the two of us apart
Looking out as far as possible, expanding loneliness
Invited by the wind, I wander searching for you
Where are you blooming now?

Riding in a carriage of light, soaring higher than any other person
Show me your figure like a rainbow of seven colors
And then bloom at my side

On the earth, there are noisy/boisterous flowers*
Are they making a harmony within their hearts?

Suddenly, the sky bursts into tears, like the way you cry
[my] chest becomes sorrowful/painful

Riding in a carriage of light, soaring higher than any other person
Show me your figure like a rainbow of seven colors
And then bloom at my side

~people, in their individual hearts, make a flower of destiny bloom when they live~

A rainbow built in the vast sky... flowers shining in seven colors
By thinking "Surely we'll meet", we become gentle
[please] bloom until I can see you

* hanatachi/flowers: This refers specifically to Lareine fans, the lovely flowers ("itoshii hanatachi") of fan club "Fleur". Unfortunately I haven't been able to think of any graceful way of phrasing it in English that makes it clear that it refers to people and not plants.
